Account information: registered email, plan and expiry date. Passwords are stored encrypted and never readable as plaintext.
Traffic metering: to bill your plan, the system records data usage (upload/download bytes) to calculate remaining quota. This never involves your browsing content.
Payment information: when you purchase a plan, order and payment records are processed by us or our payment providers.
On-device data: your subscription credentials are stored locally on your device in encrypted form (system secure storage).
We do not record your browsing history, the websites you visit, DNS queries, or connection content.
Our node servers keep no access logs — it is technically impossible for us to see what you accessed through 8Way.
We do not monitor or store traces of your online activity.
For security and troubleshooting, servers keep HTTP access logs (IP address and request path). Logs exclude sensitive parameters such as subscription credentials and rotate roughly every 14 days.
Logs are used only for operations and security, never to analyze your personal behavior.
Collected information is used only for account management, plan billing, service improvement and security.
We never sell your personal information.
We do not disclose your data to third parties except: with your consent; when required by law; or when necessary to protect the rights of 8Way or its users.
All connections are encrypted in transit with TLS.
Client credentials are stored encrypted in the system secure storage (OS-level encryption on Linux/Windows).
You may contact us at any time to access, correct or delete your account data. After account deletion, related data is removed within a reasonable period.
